Yoga For Recovery | February 17th

$5.00

This yoga class offers a calm and supportive space for anyone who wishes to reconnect with their body in a safe and compassionate way. The practice is slow, predictable, and grounded in four guiding principles: choice, internal awareness, non‑judgment, and curiosity.

Rather than focusing on how poses look, we explore how movements and sensations feel. You are always invited to choose what feels right for you — including resting at any time. There is no expectation to perform, push, or achieve anything.

Each session includes:

  • A gentle arrival meditation to settle the mind and body

  • Slow somatic warm‑ups that encourage ease and reconnection

  • Simple, repetitive movements done at your own pace

  • Optional standing shapes that emphasize steadiness, not exertion

  • Restorative floor‑based positions for grounding and support

  • A closing meditation focused on compassion and patience with oneself

This class is designed to help you listen to your body with kindness, explore movement without pressure, and develop a more supportive relationship with yourself. All bodies, all levels of experience, and all comfort levels are welcome.

This group is led by Audrey, a certified yoga instructor, who has lived experience with eating disorders and the recovery journey. Check out her bio on our “Meet the Facilitators” page!

We have yoga matts, foam blocks, and supportive straps to make this practice as accessible as possible - you’re more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer! We only have 8 spots available - please only register if you are certain you will be attending.
