Metamorphosis returns this fall for a celebration of healing, creativity, and connection. Through curated small dishes, meaningful conversations, and a common goal, we continue exploring how food, art, and community can become powerful threads in the journey towards healing and self-compassion.

Metamorphosis: A Night of Connection, Creativity, and Community

Presented by Taggart Parkes Foundation

Chef-Crafted Nourishment

Back by popular demand, Chef Tu and his team return with a new selection of bites to keep you satisfied throughout the evening. Alongside our well-loved tapas table, guests will enjoy a steady offering of small plates from 7:00-8:45pm, offering a balance of both flavour and connection as the night unfolds.

Guests will be welcomed with a signature drink intentionally created by Parlour, along with a complimentary glass of wine. Additional beverages will be available for purchase at the bar, including beer from our Empowerment Sponsor, Flora Hall Brewing.

Nourishment is at the core of Hopewell’s values - and we hope you leave feeling nourished in every sense.

A Dance Floor You’ll Want to Join

New this year: DJ Lisa Martel will be spinning familiar, crowd-favourite songs - think 70s disco hits, 80s pop, and 90s dance-floor classics. Lisa is one of Ottawa’s top DJs, known for bringing warmth, energy, and connection to every event she performs at.

The Chapel will open up as the dedicated dance floor all evening, inviting guests to add some joyful movement to their night. When they’re ready for a breather, the front section will remain reserved for artist stations, small plates, and meaningful conversations.

Joyful movement is one of Hopewell’s Guiding Principles - the dance floor offers a space to move in whatever way feels right for you, while connecting with others.

Live Art In Motion

Local artists will create new works in real time, inviting guests into their process, sparking conversation, and celebrating the creativity at the heart of Hopewell.

Artists to be announced in the coming weeks!

Art and creative expression is a foundation for our programs - it just makes sense to incorporate it into our signature event.

Interactive Ways to Give

Metamorphosis will feature expanded, engaging fundraising touchpoints woven throughout the evening. Guests can participate in new interactive stations, creative giving opportunities, and meaningful moments that directly support Hopewell’s mission.

  • Silent Auction (available online to the community on 32auctions): Specially curated baskets, unique items, exciting packages, and more.

  • Live Auction: Our beloved Live Auction will make a return this fall - want a sneak peak at some of the items? Make sure to follow our Instagram and Facebook.

  • Raffle Draw: One ticket for $25 or three for $75 and you’re entered into a draw to win one of our grand prizes.

  • NEW - Wings of Surprise: A playful, transformation-themed prize draw inspired by the spirit of Metamorphosis. Each butterfly on the display wall holds a hidden number on its back, corresponding to a surprise gift. For a set contribution, guests choose the butterfly that speaks to them, flip it over, and reveal their prize. Every pull guarantees a gift, and every gift directly supports Hopewell’s programs and community.
