Summertime Drop-In Peer Support Group

$0.00

This drop-in peer support groups will meet weekly to provide a space for giving and receiving peer support, sharing information, and exchanging resources. This informal network connects individuals with shared experiences related to food, weight, and body image, offering an opportunity to explore the various factors that may influence disordered eating, as well as celebrate personal milestones in recovery. This group is designed to complement, not replace, services such as counseling, therapy, or in-patient care.

As a drop-in group, we’ll meet every Thursday from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, rotating weekly between virtual and in-person sessions as indicated in the schedule. The location for the in-person groups will be confirmed in the coming weeks. This group will be facilitated by our Programs Coordinator, Catherine Wenglowski; Catherine holds a Bachelors Degree in Health Psychology and was a Peer Mentor in Hopewell’s Bridging the Gap Mentorship Program.

Please note: There will be no drop-in group on August 7th and August 14th.

Since this is a drop in-group, there is no cost. Register once - and show up when you want!
