Binge Eating Peer Support Group

from $0.00

We are pleased to be offering our Binge Eating peer support group again with Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) Audrey!

This peer support group is for those struggling with binge-eating disorder or emotional/compulsive eating. This group offers a safe and inclusive space that allows individuals to discuss topics important to achieving long-term recovery and share experiences and emotions to help each other make positive lifestyle changes. While no formal BED diagnosis is required, this group is intended for individuals who experience BED symptoms and emotional/compulsive eating behaviours. This group is not suitable for individuals with any other eating disorder diagnosis or those engaging in compensatory behaviours.

This group is designed to complement, not replace, services such as counseling, therapy, or in-patient care. As a closed group, we will be meeting via Zoom every Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, starting on July 8th and running for 8 weeks, concluding on August 26th.

At Hopewell, we understand the financial challenges that can come with accessing mental health treatment. Our mission is to fill the gaps in care by offering accessible support. To make our programs as inclusive as possible, our 8-week support group is priced at $50, which helps us sustain and expand our services. We also offer a pay-what-you-can option, and all services are free for individuals identifying as Indigenous, First Nations, Métis, or Inuit.
