Connections and building community are essential to those in recovery. Having a sense of community helps combat isolation while creating a supportive environment.

In order to promote community building, we are proud to introduce our social event nights to bring together those in recovery for fun, skill-building, and self-care.

Open to support group members, mentors & mentees, volunteers, and anyone in Ottawa who is in recovery or has recovered from an eating disorder. You can even bring a friend!

Happy Pride!

Hopewell and MAX Ottawa are super excited to be collaborating on a special Pride Month panel discussion, exploring the intersection of holding a queer identity and the relation between body image struggles and disordered eating. Come on out, learn about this unique relationship, and meet some new queer folks and allies!
