Peer Support Group for Carleton Students
Navigating post-secondary life can be tough, especially if you're also managing recovery from an eating disorder or dealing with disordered eating. In collaboration with Carleton Wellness, Hopewell is excited to announce our first in-person peer support group exclusively for Carleton students, meeting weekly on-campus.
This group will gather every Mondays from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, offering a supportive space for students to give and receive peer support, share information, and exchange resources. As a participant-driven group, you’ll help shape the discussions, focusing on topics that feel meaningful to you (within a safe scope). This informal network connects students with shared experiences around food, body image, and the challenges of student life, while also celebrating recovery milestones.
The drop-in group will run from October 28th (after fall reading week) through December 2nd, right before exam season. The group is free, and location details will be shared soon.
For any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Catherine, Hopewell’s Program Officer, at programs@hopewell.ca.
