BIPOC Support Group

$50.00

This group offers a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming space where individuals from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities come together to explore and share their unique experiences, challenges, and triumphs in navigating eating disorder recovery. This group is led by a BIPOC facilitator and is intended to foster a place of connection, understanding, healing, and support. Starting weekly, Thursday May 2nd, from 6:00pm-7:30pm.

It's important to note that these groups are designed to complement existing mental health services and medical treatments, offering additional support rather than serving as substitutes. Open to residents aged 17+ in Eastern Ontario, our support groups provide valuable assistance to those navigating the complexities of eating disorders and recovery. We recognize the importance of providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking assistance with their challenges, and we are committed to offering valuable support throughout their journey to recovery. We are committed to working towards reducing barriers to support, as such we always provide a pay-what-you-can option for all of our programs, as well as no cost services to all persons identifying as Indigenous, First Nations, or Metis.
